Gold and silver fall across the board, and the BTC/ETH volatility index rises slightly

BVIX (BTC Volatility Index) latest quote is 45.37, up 0.42% on the day; EVIX (ETH Volatility Index) latest quote is 67.09, up 0.31% on the day.

In the FX market, the U.S. dollar against offshore Chinese yuan (USD/CNH) rose 0.07% today, with the current exchange rate at 6.82946; the U.S. dollar against the Japanese yen (USD/JPY) rose 0.28% today, with the current exchange rate at 159.740.

In global stock indexes, the Europe 50 Index (EUSTX50, Europe’s major stock market benchmark) fell 0.75% today to 5,877.83 points; the UK FTSE 100 Index (UK100) fell 0.38% today to 10,557.40 points; the Germany DAX40 Index (GER40) fell 0.85% today to 23,607.80 points.

In commodities, WTI crude oil (U.S. crude oil futures) rose 7.86% today to $103.32 per barrel; Brent crude oil rose 7.24% today to $103.90 per barrel.
