BTC-0.68%
EURUSD-0.31%
GBPUSD0.01%
SPX500-0.61%
According to TradeLocker, gold and Bitcoin account for approximately 70% of all demo trades placed by new users on the platform's service launched in early May. The two most traded traditional forex pairs, EUR/USD and GBP/USD, combined represent less than 7% of demo trading activity. The figures are based on activity from over 100,000 users who accessed $100,000 in virtual funds to test trading strategies. When the S&P 500 is included with gold and Bitcoin, the three instruments represent around 77% of total demo trading activity, highlighting how newer retail traders are gravitating towards commodities and cryptocurrencies over traditional currency pairs.
