According to SEMI data cited in a Citic Securities research report, global semiconductor sales are projected to reach $1 trillion in 2026 and double to $2 trillion by 2035, driven by AI data center demand. Despite geopolitical risks including Middle East tensions and trade uncertainties, the shortage of critical materials poses long-term challenges.
