German 2-Year Bund Yield Rises 5bp to 2.718%, French 2-Year Jumps 6.2bp on June 10

On Wednesday (June 10), German government bond yields rose across the curve during European afternoon trading. The 2-year Bund yield climbed 5.0 basis points to 2.718%, while the 10-year yield gained 3.4 basis points to 3.076%, hitting daily highs after 7:00 PM Beijing time. The 30-year yield increased 1.6 basis points to 3.606%.

French yields also surged, with the 2-year OAT rising 6.2 basis points to 2.909% (a new daily high) and the 10-year advancing 4.1 basis points to 3.850%. Yields in Italy, Spain, and Greece similarly climbed, with 10-year spreads rising 4.9–5.4 basis points.
