Federal Reserve Holds Rates Steady With 71.7% Probability in July, CME FedWatch Shows

According to CME FedWatch Tool, the probability of the Federal Reserve holding rates steady in July reached 71.7% as of July 2, while a 25 basis point hike was priced at 28.3%. For September, the market priced a 36.1% probability of unchanged rates, a 49.8% probability of cumulative 25 basis point increases, and a 14.1% probability of cumulative 50 basis point increases.
