Federal Reserve Chair Wash Appoints Two Senior Economists as Advisors

According to WSJ, Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Wash has recently appointed two senior economists as advisors: Daniel Covitz, Deputy Director of the Federal Reserve's Research and Statistics Division, and Eric Engstrom, Assistant Director of the Monetary Affairs Division. Covitz's research focuses on asset bubbles and short-term credit market stability, while Engstrom studies the co-movements between stocks and bonds as well as corporate profits and entrepreneurial activity.
