FBI Foils Alleged Drone Attack Plot Against White House UFC Event, Five Suspects Arrested

Federal authorities disrupted an alleged plot to attack the UFC Freedom 250 event held on the White House South Lawn on Sunday, June 10, according to court documents unsealed Tuesday. The FBI arrested five suspects—Tycen Proper of Ohio, Daniel Eskridge of Missouri, Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez of Nebraska, and Bryan Omar Roa and Michael Alan Thomas of California—who prosecutors allege planned to use explosive-laden drones to drive attendees from the venue before shooters targeted politicians and other high-value individuals.

The event drew thousands of high-profile attendees, including President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. According to FBI filings, the suspects discussed their plan in a TikTok group called "Vanguard of the Old" before moving communications to Signal, with detailed operational planning including sniper positions, drone launch sites, and escape routes. The investigation began after one suspect's family contacted law enforcement about concerning behavior and firearms purchases.
