According to Saudi Arabia's state television on June 17, Iran and the United States announced a 14-point memorandum of understanding that includes an immediate and permanent cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon. The U.S. will lift its maritime blockade on Iran within 30 days and commit to withdrawing troops from the region within 30 days of a final agreement. The memorandum outlines that the U.S. will, in partnership with regional allies, establish a comprehensive development and reconstruction plan for Iran with at least $300 billion in funding.
