FAA Selects Air Space Intelligence to Develop AI-Powered Air Traffic Management Tools

Air Space Intelligence won a contract with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to provide artificial intelligence technology for flight traffic management. The company developed two AI tools for the FAA: one for flight trajectory planning and another for identifying congestion areas and suggesting solutions to air traffic controllers. According to the U.S. government, the new system is expected to reduce flight delays, improve traffic flow, and increase airspace capacity, with the transition work targeted for completion by end of 2028.
