Analyst Denies Google Finalizing CXMT Memory Purchase on June 22

According to analyst Guo Minghao of Tianfeng Securities, Google has not finalized any plans to purchase memory chips from China-based CXMT (Changxin Memory Technologies) on June 22, contradicting market rumors. Guo stated: "My latest industry survey shows Google currently has no clear procurement plans from CXMT." The denial follows reports by The Wall Street Journal citing sources suggesting Google was evaluating DRAM purchases from CXMT as a cost-reduction measure. Google has not confirmed these claims. Other PC makers including ASUS, Acer, Dell, and HP have reportedly discussed similar possibilities with supply chain partners, amid rising DRAM demand from AI data center expansion.
