ExxonMobil Signs LNG Supply Agreement With South Africa on Wednesday

According to a joint statement from Koninklijke Vopak NV and Transnet, ExxonMobil signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday to supply liquefied natural gas to South Africa. The LNG will be imported through the Zululand Energy Terminal in Richards Bay, an industrial port city on the country's east coast. The agreement aims to support South Africa's power grid and industrial growth.
