Ex-Meta Researcher's AI Startup Recursive Superintelligence Raises $650M at $4.65B Valuation

According to South China Morning Post, Recursive Superintelligence, co-founded by former Meta researcher Tian Yuandong, raised more than $650 million at a $4.65 billion valuation. The round was led by GV and Greycroft, with Nvidia and AMD as major participants. Tian previously served as research scientist director at Meta’s Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) team. The startup is building self-improving AI systems that can enhance their own code and reasoning with minimal human input.
