According to Leon Waidmann, head of research at Lisk, Ethereum network activity has reached all-time high levels in the current market cycle. Daily active addresses on the blockchain have consistently surpassed 1 million, peaking above 1.3 million—exceeding the previous bull market cycles of 2018 and 2021, when addresses peaked at 720,000 and 800,000 respectively.
Meanwhile, Ethereum's exchange balance has hit historic lows, with crypto exchanges holding just 14.5 million ETH as of June 12. Over the past 2.5 years, more than 6 million ETH have been withdrawn from exchanges, indicating sustained accumulation by long-term holders despite recent price pressure.
