Entrada Selected as Preferred Bidder for TaylorMade Acquisition at 3-4 Trillion Won

According to Herald Economy, on July 24, global private equity firm Entrada was named the preferred negotiation partner (preferred bidder) for TaylorMade Golf's acquisition by current owner Centroid Investment. The estimated acquisition price ranges from 3 trillion to just under 4 trillion Korean won (approximately $2.3-3.0 billion). Entrada has partnered with Dave Checketts, founder and former owner of Major League Soccer club Real Salt Lake, to form a consortium for the deal. The firm must submit a letter of commitment (LOC) by August to maintain its preferred status. Fashion company F&F, which holds a right of first refusal as a major shareholder, has reportedly secured acquisition financing and may exercise its matching right at the offered price.
