ENS Community Member Proposes DAO Dissolution After Founder Nick Johnson Vetoes Security Council Renewal

ENS2.19%
According to The Defiant, on July 2, ENS community member Christoph Jentzsch proposed that the ENS DAO self-dissolve, stating the organization has "collapsed." The proposal follows co-founder Nick Johnson's use of approximately half of the protocol's active voting power to single-handedly veto a Security Council renewal vote. Jentzsch suggested destroying the ENSv2 Universal Router keys and distributing remaining funds to convert ENS into public infrastructure, citing concerns that the DAO has been captured by its founders.
