Eigen Labs releases the Beta version of AgentKit, which supports the creation of autonomous AI agents that can hold assets.

BlockBeats news, on March 27, Eigen Labs released the first Beta version of AgentKit, a toolkit for developers to build AI agents that can hold assets, make payments, manage identities, and operate autonomously online.

The initial application scenarios for AgentKit focus on “autonomous media agents,” which can generate content (text, images, audio, video), manage their own social presence, and run continuously. In the coming weeks, Eigen Labs will expand AgentKit’s integration with popular social platforms, add new agent management templates, and launch an easy-to-use user interface. Future versions of AgentKit will also introduce native support for standards such as x402 and ERC-8004.
