ECB to Deploy All Measures to Combat Inflation as April CPI Hits 3%, Above 2% Target

According to Jin10 on May 26, European Central Bank Governing Council member Stéphane Slaepen confirmed the ECB will take all necessary measures to bring consumer price growth back to its target level. "The ECB will certainly do everything in its power to ensure inflation returns to our price stability objective," Slaepen said. April consumer prices rose 3%, significantly above the ECB's 2% target.
