DRC Reports 452 Ebola Cases, 82 Deaths; Continued Community Transmission on June 5

According to the Democratic Republic of Congo health ministry, on June 5, the country reported 452 confirmed Ebola cases, with 82 deaths as of June 4. The ministry said 71 new cases were identified on June 4 across Ituri and North Kivu provinces, indicating rapid and sustained community transmission. Currently, 258 patients are receiving treatment in isolation or hospitalization, with 8 having recovered.
