Crypto Theft Falls 7% in June to $76 Million, Humanity Protocol Exploit Tops List

According to blockchain security firm PeckShield, crypto hacks stole approximately $75.9 million across 40 major incidents in June, a 7.1% decline from May's $81.7 million.

The Humanity Protocol exploit accounted for the largest theft at $31 million, with founder Terence Kwok attributing the breach to a compromised private key. Other major incidents included Syscoin Bridge losing $10 million to a validation flaw, and a bot address exploited for $7.5 million.
