Crypto Platform Attack Losses Drop 90% to $68.3M in May

According to CertiK data, in May crypto platform attack losses fell to $68.3 million, down 90% from April's $650 million. Verus Protocol's cross-chain bridge hack resulted in the largest single loss of $11.5 million, followed by THORChain's $10.1 million breach.

Code vulnerabilities accounted for the highest attack losses at $45 million (66% of total), while cross-chain bridges were the primary target with $28.6 million in losses (42% of total).
