Cotton Futures Rise 1.87%, Crude Oil and LPG Fall Up to 3.9% in Night Trading

Cotton futures surged 1.87% during tonight's trading session (June 16), leading broad gains across commodities. Cotton yarn rose 1.51%, with natural rubber, latex, and palm oil climbing 1.35% to 1.42%. Soybeans, soybean meal, canola meal, soybean oil, sugar, pulp, synthetic rubber, and coking coal each gained at least 0.33%, while corn starch, corn, and PVC advanced by at least 0.24%.

Downside pressure emerged in energy and industrial sectors, with crude oil and liquefied petroleum gas each falling roughly 3.9%, followed by low-sulfur fuel oil dropping 3.1%. Iron ore, coke, and PTA also declined, with losses exceeding 1% in some cases.
