Chinese AI Models Reach 18.42 Trillion Weekly Token Calls, Leading Globally for Seventh Consecutive Week

According to OpenRouter data, Chinese AI models achieved 18.42 trillion token calls in the week of June 8-14, up 29.81% from the prior week and maintaining the global top position for seven consecutive weeks. Global AI models recorded 44.6 trillion total token calls, increasing 23.5% week-over-week. In comparison, U.S. AI models generated 5.72 trillion token calls, up 78.75%.

Among the top five global models, the first four were all Chinese. DeepSeek-V4-Flash continued to lead at 4.41 trillion weekly calls, followed by MiniMax M3 at 4.32 trillion, and Tencent Hunyuan at 4.14 trillion.
