China's Water Ministry Deploys Emergency Team to Guangxi Overnight as Typhoon Meisak Causes Dam Hazards

According to the Ministry of Water Resources, a working group arrived in Hengzhou, Guangxi, yesterday evening (July 6) to guide emergency response to dam-related hazards triggered by Typhoon Meisak, including dam overtopping and breaches.

The Ministry maintained a Level II emergency response for flood control in Guangxi, with rescue operations ongoing.
