U.S.-Led Coalition Escorts Only 70 Vessels Through Strait of Hormuz in 72 Hours, Down From 138/Day Pre-Conflict

According to Odaily, the U.S.-led Combined Maritime Information Center reported on July 5 that 70 commercial vessels were escorted through the Strait of Hormuz from July 2-4, a sharp decline from the pre-conflict daily average of 138 vessels. Daily throughput dropped consecutively: 33 vessels on July 2, 29 on July 3, and 18 on July 4.
