China's Stock Indices Fall Over 1%, More Than 4,700 Stocks Decline in Early Trading

China's major stock indices fell sharply in early trading on July 7, with both the Shanghai Composite Index and Shenzhen Component Index declining over 1%, while more than 4,700 stocks traded lower across the broader market. Hong Kong stocks also pulled back, with the Hang Seng Index down 0.4% and the Hang Seng Tech Index falling 0.3%.
