China's Stock Indices Close Lower on July 8, ChiNext Falls 1.7% as Robot and Lithium Stocks Retreat

According to CFC, China's three major stock indices closed lower on July 8. The ChiNext index fell 1.7%, while the Shanghai Composite Index declined 0.49% and the Shenzhen Component Index dropped 1.87%. Over 3,700 stocks declined across the market. Humanoid robot stocks including Estun, Dayang Motor, and Rifeng Precision hit daily loss limits, while lithium mining stocks such as Tianqi Lithium, Rongci Resources, and Shengxin Lithium Energy fell sharply.
