China's Q1 2026 Gold Production Falls to 81.065 Tons, Down 7.08%; Consumption Rises to 303.292 Tons

According to China Gold Association, China’s domestic gold production fell to 81.065 tons in Q1 2026, down 7.08% year-over-year, while gold consumption reached 303.292 tons, up 4.41%. Imported raw materials gold production increased 2.94% to 55.165 tons. Total gold production, combining domestic and imported sources, declined 3.27% to 136.230 tons.
