According to Peng Pai News, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated on May 15 that China and the UK, both permanent members of the UN Security Council and major global economies, are committed to maintaining their comprehensive strategic partnership. Regarding reports of the UK foreign secretary’s visit, Guo said, ‘I have no information to provide at present.’
