China's ChiNext Index Falls Over 1% on June 11, While Semiconductor Materials Surge

According to PANews citing Caixin Securities, on June 11, China's three major indices closed in the red, with the ChiNext Index declining over 1%, the Shanghai Composite Index down 0.16%, and the Shenzhen Component Index down 0.68%. The semiconductor materials sector bucked the broader market decline, with strength in sputtering targets, photoresists, and specialty electronic gases; notable performers included He Yuan Gas (fourth limit-up in six days), Kangqiang Electronics and Haohong Technology (both two consecutive limit-ups), and Xingfu Electronics and Huate Gas (both limit-up trades).
