China Delivers First 41,800-ton Dual-Directional Self-Discharging Bulk Carrier on July 21

According to China State Shipbuilding Corporation, the country's first 41,800-ton dual-directional self-discharging bulk carrier was delivered in Jiangsu today (July 21), marking a breakthrough from "following" to "leading" in high-end bulk carrier design. The vessel measures 215 meters in length and 42 meters in beam, with a cargo hold capacity of 29,000 cubic meters. Equipped with dual reversible longitudinal conveyor belts at the bottom, it enables flexible single-side or dual-side unloading with a maximum discharge capacity of 12,000 tons per hour.
