Chile's CMF Revokes Plusspay Cryptocurrency Platform License Over Alleged Venezuelan Gang Ties

According to Livecoins, Chile's Financial Market Commission (CMF) revoked the registration of cryptocurrency platform Plusspay, citing ties to Venezuelan criminal organization Tren de Aragua and its use in providing financial support to the group. The CMF also canceled the operating licenses of several other platforms, including Pixeltec and Iuinvest, for failing to comply with the Financial Technology Law. The affected entities are prohibited from acquiring new customers and may only conduct settlement and fund return operations for existing users.
