Central African Republic President Faustin-Archange Touadera signed a presidential decree on May 15, reappointing Felix Moloua as prime minister. Moloua had submitted his resignation on May 13, following the post-election convention. Touadera won the presidential election held on December 28, 2025, and was inaugurated on March 30, 2026, for a seven-year term. Moloua previously served as minister of economy, planning and cooperation and was first appointed prime minister in February 2022.
