Canada's S&P/TSX Composite Index Rises 0.88% to 35,274.84 on July 3

On Friday (July 3), Canada's S&P/TSX Composite Index rose 0.88% to 35,274.84 points, with investors responding positively to Prime Minister Carney's disclosure of a new west coast pipeline transportation project. The index gained 0.84% for the week.

Canada's 10-year benchmark government bond yield fell 0.4 basis points to 3.443%, while the two-year yield declined 0.5 basis points to 2.756% on the day. The 10-year yield advanced 5.7 basis points for the week.
