Brazil's government extended measures to cap fuel price increases through July 31, maintaining a subsidy of 1.12 reais per liter for domestic refineries and diesel importers. The government consolidated two previous subsidies into a single mechanism for more efficient price stability management. Federal funding for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) producers and importers was increased to 660 million reais, while tax exemptions on aviation kerosene and biodiesel under PIS/Cofins were extended.
