According to Blockaid, an active exploit targeting Garden Finance's smart contracts drained approximately $450,000 in USDT across Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain as of detection. The attacker accessed Hash Time Locked Contracts (HTLCs) that facilitate cross-chain atomic swaps, draining funds simultaneously across multiple networks. The exploit appears to target the contract logic itself rather than a single deployment vulnerability. This marks the second significant security incident for Garden Finance in under a year; the protocol lost an estimated $10.8 million to $11 million in a separate breach in late 2025.
