According to Coinglass, Bitcoin has delivered positive returns in 9 of 13 July periods since 2013, with an average July return of 7.07% and a median return of 8.16%. The largest monthly gain occurred in July 2020, when returns reached 24.03%, while the steepest decline happened in July 2014 at negative 9.69%.

Ethereum saw gains in 4 of 10 July periods since 2016, posting an average July return of 9.00% and a median return of negative 3.99%. Ethereum's best July performance came in 2022 with a 56.62% gain, while its worst July was in 2017 with a 27.29% decline.
