Binance Races for New EU License Route Ahead of July 1 MiCA Deadline

According to Binance's June 24 company statement, the exchange withdrew its Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) application with Greece's Hellenic Capital Market Commission and is pursuing authorization in another EU member state ahead of the July 1 regulatory deadline. Binance said it made the decision after reviewing the application timeline and determined that seeking licensing elsewhere would provide greater clarity for users. The company emphasized that user assets remain safe and accessible, and reiterated its commitment to operating under the EU's unified MiCA framework.
