Bezos Says AI Won't Cause Mass Unemployment, But Will Create Labor Shortages

According to Guru Club, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos said Wednesday at VivaTech conference in Paris that he disagrees with concerns about AI causing mass human unemployment. Instead, Bezos believes AI will create labor shortages as the technology lowers barriers to entrepreneurship, manufacturing, and problem-solving.

Bezos argued that human desires are endless and currently constrained only by technology, cost, and resources. As AI reduces these constraints, more people will build products, create content, and launch new initiatives, ultimately requiring more workers rather than fewer.
