Baidu Apollo Go Receives Hong Kong's First Fully Driverless License, Trial Launches July 27

According to an official announcement, Baidu Apollo Go has received Hong Kong's first license for fully driverless vehicle testing from the Transport Department and will begin trial operations on Airport Island on July 27. This marks Hong Kong's first public road test of Level 4 autonomous driving without a safety driver, and the first fully autonomous driving trial in any right-hand-drive market globally.

Apollo Go has accumulated over 240,000 kilometers of safe driving across multiple Hong Kong locations over the past 18 months.
