According to Avalanche's official announcement on June 18, 2026, the blockchain network has formally launched the Avalanche Payments Collective, bringing together 28 organizations to advance blockchain-based payment infrastructure. Participants include Franklin Templeton, VanEck, Paxos, Agora, Ethena, Anchorage Digital, Tassat, and others across the payments ecosystem.

The collective focuses on settlement, stablecoins, treasury management, foreign exchange services, custody, regulatory compliance, merchant acceptance, and cross-border transactions. According to Ava Labs Chief Business Officer John Nahas, building a global payments ecosystem requires interconnected systems and collaborative industry participation rather than single-entity solutions.
