According to ARK fund disclosures, on Tuesday (July 29), ARK added 105,108 SpaceX shares worth $12.2 million and 40,281 Tesla shares worth $12.4 million. Over Monday and Tuesday combined, ARK purchased $47.3 million in SpaceX and Tesla shares.
The purchases coincide with the Federal Communications Commission restricting imports of new Chinese humanoid and quadruped robots, citing cybersecurity and supply-chain risks. The policy aims to protect U.S. AI and automation competitiveness as American companies including Tesla develop competing robotics platforms.
