Apple Raises AppleCare+ Fees for Mac and iPad by $0.5 Monthly on July 15; Stock Up 21% YTD

Apple on Wednesday (July 15) increased monthly subscription fees for AppleCare+ coverage on Mac and iPad by $0.5, with annual plans rising $5. The 13-inch MacBook Air plan now costs $7.99 monthly (previously $7.49) and $79.99 annually (previously $74.99). Price adjustments apply only to new subscribers; existing customers retain current rates. AppleCare One ($19.99 for up to three devices) remains unchanged.

Apple stock closed up 4.01% at $327.50 on Wednesday, bringing year-to-date gains to 21%.
