Anthropic Resets User Credits, Launches $150,000 Build Day Event on June 13 for Claude Fable 5

According to Beating, Anthropic reset all user credits for its flagship Claude Fable 5 model on June 10, including the 5-hour rolling limit and weekly cap for Claude Code, to drive adoption of the newly launched model.

The company will host a Build Day developer event in San Francisco on June 13, offering a total of $150,000 in API consumption credits as prizes for developers building applications on-site. Applications close on June 12. Additionally, Anthropic's official SDK now includes automatic fallback functionality; when Fable 5 triggers safety rules and declines to respond, requests are automatically retried and seamlessly switched to Claude Opus 4.8, preventing client-side errors and crashes.
