Anthropic Launches Claude Fable 5 with Public Access, Pricing at $10-$50 per Million Tokens

According to Yahoo Finance, Anthropic launched Claude Fable 5, its most powerful AI model to date, on June 9. Unlike the earlier Mythos Preview limited to selected organizations through Project Glasswing, Claude Fable 5 is now open to the general public. The model includes safety mechanisms that restrict responses to high-risk topics such as cybersecurity and biotechnology; requests in these areas automatically route to Claude Opus 4.8 instead. Anthropic stated no universal jailbreak method was discovered across extensive internal testing and a bug bounty program exceeding 1,000 hours. Pricing is set at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens, applicable to both Claude Fable 5 and the enterprise-tier Mythos 5.
