According to PANews, Anthropic announced a $200 million four-year partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on May 14, providing funding, Claude API credits, and technical support. The collaboration targets healthcare, life sciences, education, and economic mobility in low- and middle-income countries.
The initiative will support AI applications in vaccine development, disease prediction, public health decision-making, agricultural production, and educational tutoring, and forms part of Anthropic’s Beneficial Deployments program.
