According to Anthropic PBC, on Tuesday the company launched Claude Fable 5 and Claude Mythos 5, debut models in its Mythos-class architecture designed for complex, multi-day autonomous tasks. Fable 5 includes safety guardrails and reroutes sensitive queries to Claude Opus 4.8; Mythos 5 operates without general restrictions and is restricted to participants in Project Glasswing, a collaboration with U.S. government and vetted infrastructure defenders. Amazon Web Services integrated Fable 5 into Amazon Bedrock and the Claude Platform on AWS; Microsoft simultaneously added it to Microsoft Foundry for autonomous operational workflows.
