Anthropic Delays Developer Quota Overhaul, Agent SDK Continues Using Web Subscription Limits

According to Beating, Anthropic delayed the developer quota overhaul originally scheduled to take effect on June 15, notifying subscription users via email. The company previously announced in May that Claude Agent SDK, the claude-p command-line tool, and third-party applications built on Agent SDK would shift from sharing Web subscription rate limits to a fixed monthly quota deduction model, with Pro subscribers allocated $20 monthly. During the delay, all calls made through development kits or command-line interfaces will continue following existing Web subscription rules without requiring developers to claim any quota. Anthropic will notify users before the new pricing scheme officially launches.
