According to Blockaid, Alephium's TokenBridge was exploited when attackers gained control of 3 of 4 Guardian keys and forged verification messages (VAA) to steal approximately $815,000 in assets within 7 minutes. The attackers minted 13.76 million wrapped ALPH tokens out of thin air—exceeding the pre-attack circulating supply by over 100%—and unlocked multiple digital assets including USDT, USDC, WBTC, and WETH from the custodial pool. The attacker's address currently holds the stolen funds and unsecured wrapped ALPH tokens.
