Alchemy Launches AgentCard, Visa Virtual Card for AI Agents

According to PANews, Alchemy launched AgentCard on June 18, a Visa virtual card designed to enable AI agents to make autonomous payments in the real world. The card integrates Visa Intelligent Commerce and defaults to Visa tokenized card payments. AgentCard also supports crypto payments and agent-native payment protocols including x402 (incubated by Coinbase) and Stripe Machine Payments Protocol when supported by merchants. Users can generate Visa payment tokens, dedicated email addresses, phone numbers, and crypto wallets for agents through a single API, while setting merchant whitelists, per-transaction limits, and budgets.
