According to Shanghai Securities News, AI eyeglass manufacturers launched multiple new products in the second quarter of 2026, including models from Lebird Innovation and Alibaba Qianwen, while Google announced plans to debut its first AI glasses in fall.

Optical components account for nearly half the cost of display-equipped AI eyeglasses, with Micro LED technology designed for outdoor scenarios becoming a focus area for manufacturers. Chipset design and integration represents another critical cost component at 20-30 percent, with A-share companies including Xsemi Technologies and Verisilicon positioning themselves in this segment.
